Jochen Pohl’s atelier in Idar-Oberstein, Germany, turns rare jewels into spectacular jewellery. The unmistakeable design vocabulary of these pieces – their strong, classic lines – was the inspiration for the company’s trade fair booth at Baselworld.
With a total area of 42 square metres, this booth was one of Baselworld’s brightest gems. Thanks to its clear design with neutral colours and a clever use of light, the booth was able to perfectly showcase Jochen Pohl’s unique jewellery creations.
For Jochen Pohl’s appearance at Baselworld, Messerli coordinated the construction of the existing, modular booth and replaced wall elements and furnishings as needed. New backlit graphic elements directed the focus to the latest pieces in the collection.
Inside the booth, there was nothing to distract from the elaborately crafted gemstones. The furnishings underscored the brand’s exclusive standards and was designed so that the booth’s staff could take time to have a one-on-one discussion with every visitor.
With this appearance, Jochen Pohl was able to communicate its philosophy and share its unique craftsmanship with an international audience.
