Swiss Krono

Dynamic pragmatism

Swiss Krono AG, Swissbau 2018, Basel

When the Swiss construction industry meets at the Swissbau fair, Swiss Krono from Menznau has to be there too, of course. As the only Swiss manufacturer of laminate flooring and other wooden materials, they present the latest product trends at each event.

For the extraordinary stand area that was narrow and long, Messerli created an attractive concept of space. The design focusses on an architectural element that is repeated in a playful way in the stand area. The repetition creates spaces and presentation areas on the floors, walls and ceilings. This irregular arrangement gives rise to a feeling of surprise and dynamism for the visitor.

In this way, the design communicated the values of Swiss Krono: refreshing dynamism and Swiss pragmatism. With the appearance, Swiss Krono positioned itself as a leader in quality and innovation. The stand consists predominantly of materials from the in-house production of Swiss Krono. This interplay of materials gives the visitor an authentic impression of the different materials and their effect in the space.
