Moving people and brands
With a great deal of heart and soul, we implement unique projects that touch people and take brands further.
DC Swiss, EPHJ and other 2019 trade fairs, various venues
What can the new DC Swiss all-purpose tap drill for CNC machines do? Thanks to an innovative product presentation, visitors to the EPHJ in Geneva were able to get to grips with it at the stand.
DC Swiss is a renowned, internationally active company specialising in thread-cutting technologies. Explaining the advantages of the complex, highly specialised systems presents challenges in communication. Hence, under the guidance of angelini design, the concept for an interactive product display was developed. The idea was that visitors would be able to become individually acquainted with the tools and their purposes.
The display – the Threading Technology Machine – consists of two screens and a revolving platform, on which two large-scale versions of the tools presented are mounted. Via the touch screen, curious visitors select a tool. The revolving platform rotates so that the selected thread tap becomes visible. The screen then provides the most important data, while a beamer projects further information onto the thread tap via micro-mapping.
This interactive – partly mechanical, partly digital – type of product presentation was very warmly received by visitors and also served as a valuable presentation tool for the team manning the stand. It toured around and was used very successfully at several trade fairs. angelini design and Messerli were responsible for the entire conception, design and storyboard of the interactions, and also oversaw the programming and production of the Threading Technology Machine.
