Tornos

Small changes, big impact

Tornos SA, EMO 2019, Hannover

Tornos is turning heads! At EMO 2019, the global trade fair for the metalworking industry, their bright, architecturally sophisticated booth clearly demonstrated that Tornos stands for top quality.

Messerli was tasked with making small but impactful changes to further optimise the existing modular trade fair concept. Rounded edges were added to every aspect of the booth architecture so that all of the structures, furniture, screens and exhibits created a dynamic whole. The booth’s zoning was also more clearly defined and graphical elements were implemented more effectively. The new halo element from the key visual is now reflected in multiple lighting installations, which further underlines the harmonious overall impression.

EMO is an important platform for the manufacturer of sliding-headstock lathes and multi-spindle lathes. The presentation of their latest innovation, SwissNano7, was therefore one of the booth’s main highlights. With a humorous selfie station that was designed to look like a fitness centre, Tornos demonstrated that the SwissNano family has become even stronger. Furthermore, the large-scale LED wall created a communicative, dynamic background for product presentations.

Valuable contacts with potential clients

At EMO, the company was able to make valuable contacts with potential clients from a wide variety of industries. Carefully staged display cases with integrated touchpads reflected the versatility of the Tornos solutions.

At various presentations, which attracted a large number of visitors, Tornos also demonstrated that they are a frontrunner when it comes to the most important trend in the manufacturing industry: networking of equipment, automation solutions, systems and software.

The six-day trade fair was extremely successful for the company and they were pleased with how many existing and potential customers from a wide range of market segments visited their booth.

I would be delighted to answer all your questions!
