Hublot

«The Art of Fusion» at the Tree Museum

Hublot, Enea Tree Museum 2019, Rapperswil-Jona

On 3 October 2019, Hublot Switzerland celebrated the 10-year anniversary of Hublot’s «The Art of Fusion». For this special event, Hublot invited a chosen group of customers to enjoy a wonderful evening at the Enea Tree Museum in Rapperswil-Jona.

Swiss watchmaker Hublot has set itself apart from the competition thanks to its unique concept for combining materials, referred to as «The Art of Fusion». Its philosophy of combining natural and artificial materials with one another has made Hublot one of the most innovative brands in the watch industry.

In honour of this success, 100 customers accepted Hublot’s invitation and convened in Rapperswil-Jona to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of this concept. Messerli transformed the venue selected by Hublot into the perfect location for an exclusive customer event. The challenge was to effectively showcase the brand while at the same time allowing the architecture of the existing structures and Enea’s landscape design to shine through. The success of this event demanded close collaboration between Hublot, Enea and Messerli.

The Hublot logo appeared to float on the water, creating an impactful eye-catcher, which was especially impressive when it lit up as night began to fall. The exclusive watch models were showcased on a nearly 10-metre-long tree trunk. The trunk was originally from a Kauri tree, which is a type of tree that is native to New Zealand. It is an unbelievable 40,000 years old and is the only specimen of its kind in the world. A custom-designed illuminated frame made for an extraordinary product presentation.

This exclusive event offered guests a wide array of entertainment: the chance to try on watches with explanations and advice from expert watchmakers, a lively round of table football, a tour of the Tree Museum, and even a live cooking demonstration by two star chefs. The chefs themselves had mastered the art of fusion with their ingredients and were able to indulge the attendees with dish after dish of culinary delights. A successful evening in a very special setting that was sure to leave lasting positive impressions.
