At this year’s IFA, Nespresso presented coffee in a new dimension: in a large cup. Messerli devised a trade fair stand that allowed visitors to completely immerse themselves in the Nespresso brand and its products.
The Germans prefer to drink their coffee from large cups and with milk. Thus, for this year’s presentation at the world’s most important trade fair for consumer electronics, Nespresso introduced the new «Vertuo» machine portfolio. The machine with reshaped capsules brews coffee in five different cup sizes.
Messerli had the task of positioning the new product portfolio on the trade fair stand. The stand should be a magnet for private clients, but should also provide a retreat for discussions with expert visitors and media representatives at the same time. For this reason, the double-decker stand is divided into a public area and a closed area. Messerli took over the conception, planning and implementation for the presentation.
The stand received a high number of visitors during the six-day trade fair. The centrepiece of the presentation was the counters where visitors were able to sample the different varieties of coffee and become acquainted with the new capsule system. With Messerli, Nespresso has decided on a partner that is able to fulfil the high demands of design and brand transfer as well as quality of implementation.
