In August every other year, Zurich Zoo transforms into a colourful festival setting. This year’s 18th edition centred around the Great Anteater. Around 640 guests gathered in the Lewa Savannah for a programme of highlights and collected donations for the star animal.
As the general contractor, Messerli produced the entire event, assisted by its sister companies to create an unrivalled ambience.
Hunziker and Lenzlinger Zeltbau erected five weatherproof tents, while Konform provided a sophisticated decoration concept and Mediarent ensured perfect sound and atmospheric lighting.
The stage, flanked by two XL termite mounds, repeatedly attracted attention. After the gala dinner, guests partied to live music by the cover band MAXiN. The secret stars of the event were the walking acts of the Fashion Circus, who caused quite a stir.
Guests danced until the early hours to the beats of DJ Darren at the exotically designed «Rumble in the Jungle» bar. There was also plenty of fun and games. Guests competed in an anteater race while getting a breath of fresh summer air.
The Zoofäscht 2025 showed once again that when Zurich celebrates, it does so in style – and with a heart for animals. Thanks to the generous donations, the association can provide crucial support to build the new Pantanal Volière.
