Tailor-made

Bachem AG, CPhI 2015, Madrid

Swiss chemical company Bachem last year wowed visitors to CPhI Worldwide 2014 in Paris with a kaleidoscope presentation of their areas of expertise. The successful trade-fair concept was given a new outfit for this year’s event in Madrid.

Inspired by the way that chemical structures are visually represented, the designers at Messerli developed a kaleidoscope which provided an overview of the various uses for the peptides produced by Bachem. Four hexagonal arches were erected over the hospitality area, giving the space a quite unique feel.

The self-supporting modular construction is covered with an opaque fabric, upon which aesthetically appealing microscope images are displayed. For the CPhI Worldwide 2015 exhibition in Madrid this year, a decorative wall which also featured a hexagonal design was added to the stand. As well as being a visual highlight that was in harmony with the rest of the stand, the wall also served a practical purpose, providing a display space for booklets and brochures.

All of the individual elements of the stand were designed so that they can be reused and always fit together perfectly. The result was a striking trade-fair stand which integrates seamlessly into the company’s corporate communication and effectively communicates its message.
