Temporary brand spaces for lasting impressions

The Economic Forum 2022 in Davos reserved some surprises for Messerli, although the logistical challenges and high quality requirements remained the same. When the event was postponed from January to May at the last minute, the main difficulties were organisational: to ensure the availability of assembly staff, accommodation for the team, warehousing and logistics areas, venues for all the events and brand spaces, plus building materials.

Assembly started on time thanks to a collective make-ith-appen attitude among all those involved. Due to travel restrictions, some companies took part to a lesser extent, but lots of exciting projects were implemented nonetheless.

Quality was more important than quantity, with temporary projects of an equivalent standard to permanent installations. Participants appreciated the long-awaited personal contact. As supplier, Messerli staged brand spaces and events for international clients at the Steigenberger Grandhotel Belvédère and other sites in Davos. As well as using traditional conference rooms and mobile structures, with a great deal of expertise and an eye for detail, Messerli transformed unusual locations such as hotel swimming pools, former chapels or art galleries into unique venues with a strong brand identity and message.

Preparations are already underway for the next Economic Forum, scheduled for January 2024 in more traditional Davos winter temperatures.
